Math Meet One was held this past Saturday at Moanalua High, and Iolani started the season with convincing victories in both the varsity and JV divisions.
The varsity, led by perfect scorers William Chambers (11) and Lianne Ho (12), amassed 253 points to Kamehameha's 182, Roosevelt's 179, Punahou's 169, Mililani's 156 and McKinley's 153.
The other team members were Jaimie Fong (11), Anders Lee (11), Jeff Sakamoto (12), Jessi Saylors (12), Dustin Shigaki (10), Jon Wong (12), Cordelia Xie (9) and Craig Yugawa (12).
The JV, led by perfect scorer Teresa Ou (10), scored 91 points to Kamehameha's 59, Maryknoll's 57 and McKinley's 56. The other team members were Hao Chen (10), Adam Ching (10) and Mitchell Kwock (9).
Meet Two is on November 8 at McKinley High.
