Friday the seventh grade was divided into twenty-seven discovery teams.
The young explorers spent their day on R.O.P.E.S. activities, an art project, and a scavenger hunt as they continued to learn more about the upper school.
The art project, a paper chain mural, reflects the theme of Blue Skin of the Sea, the seventh grade summer reading book.
Woven, seaweed like, among the paper chains are myriad haiku about the sea, were written by seventh graders in their English classes.
During the scavenger hunt, students learned important information about the libraries, the bookstore, the computer lab, the Student Activities Office, the attendance window and met campus staff members and teachers.
