The Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth, a world leader in gifted education, conducts national and international talent searches to identify, assess and recognize outstanding academic talent through achievement at the 95th percentile or higher on national standardized tests such as the ERB and SCAT.
On Saturday, May 16th, 5th and 6th grade students from Iolani Lower School were honored at the 30th Anniversary Talent Search Awards Ceremony. The program honors Hawaii's top performing academic students through the Johns Hopkins University - Center for Talented Youth Programs.
Many of these Iolani students will be attending accelerated summer academic programs in the areas of math, science and humanities at colleges such as Villanova, Stanford and Yale.
